Courtney Wheaton is happy to be back in her home state of Ohio! She grew up in Cleveland and Toledo and graduated from Bowling Green State University before landing her first on-air job in Zanesville.
Since then, she’s bounced around moving to Virginia and Michigan, and now back to Ohio chasing the news bug.

She’s covered plenty of stories in her day. She’s most proud of the work she’s done on the water crisis while living in Flint, Michigan, and the aftermath of deadly tornadoes that swept through Lynchburg, Virginia.
Courtney considers herself a foodie and enjoys a good red wine. She also likes to read, group workout classes, and spend time with her family and loved ones.
She couldn’t be happier to be in the Miami Valley reporting and anchoring the news! She said she felt at home right away and the people have been very welcoming.
