Danny Harnden Biography
Danny Harnden is an American journalist working as a sports anchor/reporter for WGHP FOX8 News. Brought up in Alexandria, Virginia as the most youthful of six children, Danny went west to go to Arizona State University in the fall of 1982.
He played one year of J.V. baseball for the Sun Devils prior to becoming “Sparky” the ASU mascot for a considerable length of time. Danny met his better half Sandy in May of 1994 at a Phoenix Suns/Houston Rockets season finisher game.
The games fellow from Tucson and the newsmaker from Phoenix hit it off and got drawn in about a month and a half after their first date and were hitched in quite a while. Danny and Sandy have two kids Jeffrey and Kelliann.
Danny appreciates chicken wings, hand-crafted chocolate chip treats, Diet Coke, wide fairways, tennis, a “wash”, conversing with local gatherings, going to Westover Church, and spending time with his loved ones.

Harnden got back toward the east coast in 2001 subsequent to “meandering in the desert” for quite some time. After graduation, Danny landed his first TV position dropping down to cover ASU’s adversary, the Arizona Wildcats in Tucson.
He was adequately fortunate to go to 3 Final Fours with the Cats including their unimaginable hurry to the 1997 National Championship. Danny remained at KVOA-TV for a very long time prior to tolerating the occupation here at FOX8.
