Kayla Carlile is a news/sports MMJ for WZDX News. She graduated from the University of South Alabama in 2016, with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast/Journalism with a minor in Business.
Kayla is originally from Evansville, Ind. Growing up she competed in track and field, basketball, softball, volleyball, and gymnastics. As a gymnast, she reached level 9 before switching to pole vaulting.
In her spare time, Kayla enjoys eating a lot and working out from time to time. She also loves sports, travel, and spending time with her friends and family.

While in the USA, she competed for 4 years in Division I Track and Field as a pole-vaulter. After college, she began her broadcasting career as a Photographer/MMJ at NBC15 news in Mobile, Ala. She spent a year and a half covering everything news and sports while in Mobile.
