Luke Lyddon Biography
Luke Lyddon is an American journalist working as a sports anchor/reporter for KPNX 12 News. Pleased alumni of Chaparral High School, Luke experienced childhood in Scottsdale and is excited to be back home covering Arizona sports.
Luke moved on from the University of Missouri, where he acquired his lone ranger’s in broadcast news-casting. Prior to his vocation, Luke burned through three years as an end-of-the-week sports anchor/columnist at KVIA, ABC7, in El Paso.
Luke Lyddon KPNX 12 News
Lyddon is a games columnist and anchor for 12 News, contributing across all shows and stages. He co-has Cardinals Locker Room with Lina Washington and adds to Friday Night Fever and 12 Sports Tonight.
He joined Team 12 in November 2021. Luke joined 12 News from TEGNA’s sister station, WFMY News 2 in Greensboro, North Carolina, where he anchored and covered sports for quite a long time.
During his residency at WFMY, Luke was perceived with a Mid-South Regional Emmy Award for Best Sportscast.
FUN FACTS:
- Luke was born in Kansas City, Missouri, and still has a die-hard allegiance to his Kansas City Chiefs, watching them win Super Bowl 50 in person
- He loves fitness, especially playing golf and hockey; he also loves playing video games.
- Donuts are his favorite food!
