Tamar Sher Biography
Tamar Sher is an American journalist working as a sports director for WFIE14 News. A second-age Hoosier, Tamar is a May 2021 alumni from Indiana University Bloomington with a B.A. in Media.
She accepted her certificate from The Media School and completed on the Dean’s List as she packed in Sports Media and worked in Broadcast Journalism and Public Relations.
A St. Louis local, Tamar’s affection for sports began at a youthful age as she grew up a Cardinals and Blues fan. She cherishes everything about The Lou including Busch Stadium, the renowned ravioli that is toasted, saltine slender IMO’s pizza, Ted Drewes frozen custard, and Kaldi’s Coffee.

Sher joined the 14 Newsgroup in May 2021 as a Sports and News Anchor/Reporter. She was unable to be more eager to begin her profession in the Tri-State. During her time in B-Town, Tamar took an interest in numerous understudy associations inside the IU Sports Media Program.
